Digital Quality Assessment

Find out what breaks before it is your reporting year.

A bounded, no-PHI assessment with a written deliverable. It is designed to be the cheapest way to find out you have a problem, and the fastest way to prove you do not.

The Digital Quality Assessment and Readiness Report tells you whether your quality data can actually support digital measurement, before you commit a budget to finding out the hard way. It is deliberately the smallest useful engagement we offer: it moves no protected health information, needs no business associate agreement, and produces a written report rather than a platform. Most plans discover their real constraint is not a missing measure engine. It is that a value set is bound to the wrong specification version, a supplemental feed has no provenance, or the one person who understands the extract logic has not documented it.

The problem

Readiness is usually asserted rather than tested. Somebody says the data is fine because the reports run, which confuses a pipeline that completes with a pipeline that is correct. The gap surfaces during an audit, a reconciliation dispute, or a specification change, which are the three worst moments to find it.

What the report contains

Provenance tier assessment

where each quality data source sits against the five governed tiers, and which tier it is failing at.

Gap register

every finding, ranked by what it puts at risk rather than by how hard it is to fix, so the ranking survives a budget conversation.

Specification binding review

whether each value set and measure definition is pinned to a stated specification version, which is the most common silent defect we find.

Supplemental data inventory

every non-claims feed, its provenance, and whether its contribution can be traced to a source record.

Key person risk map

which calculations exist only in one person's working knowledge, named by system rather than by individual.

Sequenced remediation plan

the order to fix things in, with the dependencies made explicit so the work that unblocks other work is scheduled first.

What it looks like in practice

A quality organization has been told to prepare for digital measurement and does not know where it stands. We assess against the five provenance tiers, produce a gap register ranked by what it puts at risk, and sequence the remediation so the work that unblocks other work happens first. The output is a document their CFO can read and their analytics lead can act on the same week.

No protected health information, and no BAA

The assessment reads specifications, documentation, schemas, and population level counts. It does not need member level data, so there is no business associate agreement to negotiate and no privacy review to schedule before we can start. That is a deliberate design constraint, because the legal path is usually longer than the technical one and it stops readiness work that should take weeks.

It ends in a document, not a dependency

The deliverable is yours, written to be read by someone who was not in the room. You can act on it with your own team, with another vendor, or with us. We would rather be chosen on the strength of the assessment than retained because nobody else can read it.

Who it is for

Director of Analytics and ReportingAnalytics and Reporting

Stop rebuilding the same model every year. Let AI handle the routine ad-hoc requests so your team can build the predictive future instead of being the report desk, on a maintained registry with versioned specifications you can inspect. You are the person a security review runs through, so the first product asks for nothing that needs one.

You know what the strategy should be. You are waiting on a ticket for the numbers, and the two things you fear most are a half star drop and a failed audit. Walk into the executive suite with a ranked, dollar weighted plan at the start of the measurement year, instead of a year end surprise.

What usually comes next

When the report finds structural gaps, Provenance First Data Architecture is the engagement that closes them, in the order the report sets out.
